Built to

| |
Eastern Centrichem
single-stage and multi-stage centrifugal pumps
are designed for a wide variety of process
industry applications, pilot plant operations,
and laboratory uses. |
| |
And, just as important,
they are designed for long, dependable service. |
| |
Construction. |
| |
Each Centrichem
pump is close coupled for greater strength,
and comes ready to mount directly to a NEMA
56C, 143/5TC, or 182/4C motor. This design
eliminates the need for special baseplate
mountings, couplings, and complicated drives. |
| |
Pump chambers,
rear housings, covers and impellers are all
precision castings to ensure that the pump
walls are smooth. This avoids crevices which
can lead to product contamination. |
| |
Precision castings
also reduce flow resistance to a minimum.
This improves the hydraulic efficiency to
a level unmatched in pumps of this size. |
| |
Generous clearances
and the overhung shaft design of the single-stage
pumps enable them to handle corrosive liquids
that contain low percentages of solids. And
the mechanical rotary seals make these pumps
suitable for extensive applications with acids,
alkalis, and solvents. |
| |
Materials. |
| |
All models are
available in 316 stainless steel and some
in Hastelloy C. These materials are suitable
for a wide variety of acid and alkali solutions. |
| |
Operating
Limits. |
| |
Eastern's model
D and J pumps are rated at temperatures up
to 250 deg F, while models C and H can be
used in applications as hot as 450 deg F,
and viscosities up to 100 cps. |

Eco
Gearchem |
| |
ECO Gearchem pumps
offer the reliability you need to safely handle
clear lubricating and non-lubricating liquids.
Extensive material availability provides versatility
for pumping low or high viscosity fluids over
a broad range of temperatures, pressures,
and corrosive services. Typical applications
for these self-priming, external-spur gear
pumps include chemical transfer, cyclic operations
and continuous production systems - both open-end
and closed-loop. They are well suited for
pilot plants, vacuum systems and metering
applications. |
| |
At the heart of
each ECO Gearchem pump are two tightly toleranced,
machine-generated spur gears consisting of
a drive and an idler gear. Self-priming capability
is accomplished by our closely toleranced
gears which evacuate air from the suction
piping. Gearchem pumps provide linear, pulsation-free
flows. And the pumps are bidirectional. This
lets you easily change flow direction. |
| |
We offer six models
with a maximum capacity of 60 USGPM (13.6
m 3 /h). Most models offer maximum differential
pressure of 100 psi (6.9 bar). ECO pumps are
designed for temperatures ranging from -100
F to +450 F (-73 C to +232 C). Gearchem pumps
are ideal for vacuum applications where system
pressures are as low as 0.1 mm Hg abs. |
